We froze on stage. So we built pitchMe.

pitchMe is the practice room we wished we had: private, patient and honest. It began as a fix for a problem we knew too well, and grew into something schools asked for.

Every classroom has a brilliant idea stuck behind a shaky voice. Confidence decides who gets heard. We refuse to leave that to chance.

Confidence in speaking is not randomly distributed. It follows coaching, practice, and safe places to fail. Most people never get all three. pitchMe exists to build them for everyone: a coach that watches every rehearsal, feedback that arrives in minutes, and a room where nobody laughs.

How it happened

Polytechnic, year one

Two builders, one stage fright

Rachel and Zhi Feng met in year one of polytechnic. Hackathons taught them to build almost anything. Then came the stage, and the words would not.

Practising alone taught them little, and practising in front of people took more courage than the presentation itself. What they wanted was simple: somewhere to rehearse in private, with feedback that told the truth kindly.

March to November 2024

The win, the offer, the bedrooms

In March 2024 they entered NTU Deep Learning Week and took first place. One LinkedIn post later, Singapore Polytechnic reached out with a question: sell the idea, or build it into a real service for the school. They chose to build.

The first version took shape in two bedrooms in two countries, over countless calls and iterations. The MVP went live in November 2024, and the SUTD Baby Shark Fund backed it almost immediately.

2025 to today

Singapore, then Vietnam

The platform left the campus: a corporate sharing at Keppel's Data Analytics Division, a pitch to UEH's Venture and Innovation Department in Ho Chi Minh City that opened Vietnam, and internships for Vietnamese students. Kavya leads the impact side, and a mentor from GIC helped sharpen how we think about growth.

Programmes followed. Pitch Perfect! with the National Youth Council, a first English public-speaking programme in Vietnam with UEH and UTH, and SPOTLIGHT STUDIO with SHINE. Classrooms in two countries now practise with pitchMe.

The people building pitchMe

Two founders on the record, and the core team behind the work. Quotes as published, July 2026.

“What we wanted to build was something that gave every student the same quality of feedback, regardless of whether their school had access to specialised coaching or not.”

  • Software developer, national AI robotics team
  • Canada SEED-2 scholar, University of Waterloo exchange

Where this is going

Our 2030 goal: 1,000,000 young people speaking with confidence.

“Communication shapes confidence, and confidence shapes opportunity. We've met students with incredible potential who hesitate to share their ideas because they don't believe their voice matters. We want to change that. Every young person deserves the chance to be heard.”

Kavya Santosh Nair, Chief Impact Officer

Confidence programmes already run with the National Youth Council and SHINE Children and Youth Services, alongside classrooms in Singapore and Vietnam.
